Hire a company that will actually do what you ask and do it correctly

""First I should say that I am a General Contractor. After 15 years in the business there are only two companies I have had work on my house. Granite Works is one of them, the other is my company.

In the home improvement industry there are lots of companies and individuals that claim they can do the work you are requesting. As a GC I can afford to say "we'll find someone better next time" As a home owner you have one shot to create your dream kitchen or bathroom.

Don't hire a company because they have a sign on the side of the road that sounds like a good deal, hire a company that will actually do what you ask and do it correctly."

"Giving the fact that I live in Texas, and had only a week to cordinate the remodel of our property in Maryland, I had to find a reliable contractor to help me replace old laminate countertops. My neighbor gave me Granite Works information and when I called to schedule an estimate. The man came to the house the very next day, and he was very polite and helpful. I wasn't sure on the granite color, but he showed me samples and gave me a few suggestions. I went to their showroom in Rockville the next morning to see the slabs. (Again, the people at the showroom were so nice... ) I closed the deal and 3 days later they came to install the countertops. Everything went well. This company is really great and deserve their reputation. I would recommend them to anyone!!"
