Don’t Always Rely on Commercial Cleaners

While you can still use furniture waxes, sprays and polishes on your kitchen cabinets, it’s recommended that they should be used sparingly. This is because many of them contain silicone to provide the shine while also creating a barrier over the wooden surface that makes the material difficult for touch-ups or refinishing. Wax can also build up on your wooden cabinets over time, which can attract more dust and dirt that can affect your indoor air quality.
